Short answer: ADB Automotive sells DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid) wholesale to fleets, gas stations, truck parts stores and repair shops across South Florida. Its catalog includes BlueDEF, Azul DEF and Prime Guard DEF in 2.5-gallon jugs, and a LubriMatic pump for 55-gallon DEF drums.
What DEF is and who needs it
DEF is a high-purity urea solution in deionized water used by diesel engines with SCR (selective catalytic reduction) systems to lower emissions. Most recent diesel trucks and pickups require it, and if the DEF tank runs empty the engine may limit its power. That makes it a constant restock item for fleets and for gas stations with diesel customers.
DEF in the ADB catalog
- BlueDEF in a 2.5-gallon jug.
- Azul DEF in cases of two 2.5-gallon jugs.
- Prime Guard DEF in a 2.5-gallon jug.
- LubriMatic pump for 55-gallon DEF drums, for fleets that dispense from a drum.
How to store it in the Florida heat
DEF lasts less when it spends a long time in the sun or at high temperatures. Store it indoors, out of direct sunlight, with the cap closed, and rotate stock so what came in first sells first. Use funnels and pumps for DEF only: any trace of oil, fuel or tap water contaminates it and can damage the SCR system.
Frequently asked questions
Does ADB sell DEF wholesale?
Yes. ADB sells DEF by the case to fleets, gas stations, truck parts stores and repair shops with an approved wholesale account.
Is DEF the same as AdBlue?
It is the same type of urea solution. In Europe it is sold under the AdBlue name, and in the United States it is called DEF. Check the label for compliance with ISO 22241.
Do you have a pump to dispense DEF from a drum?
Yes. The catalog includes a LubriMatic pump for 55-gallon DEF drums.
How often should I order DEF?
It depends on how many diesel vehicles you serve. Because DEF should not sit for long in the heat, it is better to order often, in quantities you will sell soon.
